DIRECTIONS :

From the West/ North: Exit #40 off N.Y.S. Thruway at Weedsport, NY. Take Rt. 34 to Auburn. Turn left on Rt. 5&20. Take 2nd right on Rt. 38A, on the east side of the Owasco Lake, go 9 miles South to Hamley of Owasco, turn rt. on Twelve Corners Rd., turn right on Vanderstouw Rd.

From Ithaca: Take Rt. 38 North to Locke, then to Moravia, turn right on Rt. 38A in Moravia, drive approx. 6 miles, turn left on Twelve Corners Rd., go 3 miles North, turn left on Vanderstouw Rd.

From the South: Exit #12 off Interstate 81 at Homer, NY, turn right onto Rt. 281, then left on Rt. 90 to Locke, NY. In Locke turn right on Rt. 38 to Moravia, see directions above from this point.

From Syracuse: Take Rt. 5 to Auburm, left on Rt. 38A in Auburn, on the east side of Owasco Lake, go 9 miles south to Hamlet of Owasco, turn Rt. Onto Twelve Corners Rd., turn rt on Vanderstouw Rd.

Gates Open at 5 Registration is from 6-7 Practice starts at aprox. 6:45 First heat aprox. 7:30 on Friday and Saturday shows. Gates Open at 10, registration is from 11-12. Practice starts at aprox. 11:45 first heat aprox 12:30 on Sunday shows.

**Once we confirm the supporting classes and laps we will run for July 3rd, July 4th, August 7, August 8th, October 2nd, October 3rd, and October 8th races, a new flyer will be mailed. These classes will also need to sell 4 laps at $10.00 each or pay the $40.00 themselves. Lap money will go into payout. These classes will not pit.

RMR is proud to announce Rage (Nitro) is on board for all drivers that have one of their chassis. RMR and Rage are working together to come up with a full contingency program for the 2010 Outlaw Series. We are pleased to announce that we have fifteen new Rages (Nitros)  that came in from cross the nation. So if you dont have your Nitros yet don't waste time, get it and come aboard. Frozen Ocean 2010 Rules

Here are the rules for 2010.

1. Kart/Mower membership is a “must”. This will include the RMR insurance[ one time only 40.00]– entry fee per class is $20.00 and pit pass are just $10 each.
                                            [membership must be paid by 8/1/10 to get year ends points]
2. Racing friday nights, Saturday, and sunday racing- (12:00 sat and sunday] Friday nights aprox. 7:30.
Special shows at the ocean on Saturday nights start at aprox 6 pm. Sunday afternoon shows at the ocean start aprox. 12:00.

Jr.1 Purple- 5-9 -250 lbs.

Jr.2 Turquoise- 10-12 -275 lbs.

Stock Lite- 15 & up -325 lbs

Stock Medium- 15 & up -350 lbs.

Stock Heavy- 15 & up -375 lbs.

Super Heavy- 400 lbs (driver 200 +)

Improved Stock- Up to 20 HP engine. All rear-ends must be locked. Any carburetor and intake. Stock muffler / pipe with muffler. Maximum width 41" outside to outside of rear tires and up to 44" for the front.
 
Improved Twin - Up to 20 HP engine. All rear-ends must be locked. Any carburetor and intake. Stock muffler / pipe with muffler. Maximum width 41" outside to outside of rear tires and up to 44" for the front.
 
Modified Single Cylinder Class - Up to 20 HP engine must look original. Single carburetor, flathead or OHV. Maximum width of mower can be 44" outside to outside of tires (front and rear).

Modified Twin Cylinder Class - Up to 25 HP engine must look original. Single carburetor, flathead or OHV. Maximum width of mower can be 44" outside to outside of tires (front and rear).

Super Stock Single - All stock with original tires and transmission. Governors must be hooked up with 3650 Max RPM's. Pulleys can be changed. Must have original working brakes or better. Must have hand throttle with two return springs. NO MODIFICATIONS!

The following classes will be to WKA standards: Jr. 1, Jr. 2, Jr. 3, Lites, Mediums, Heavys, and Super Heavys.

Clones will be up to AKRA standards!

The opens will be under UAS standards!
 
Mower Classes will be under Moose Mountain Standards

Winged- Champs must run stock appearing animal/flathead motor.

Tires-Burris-Slicks only- Stock classes will be allowed to run HAND GROOVED tires only. Open class & Champs will be allowed any burris tire.

2010 Three Race Series
 for the following classes: Flatheads 360 lbs, Clones 365 lbs, and Super Heavy 400 lbs.

**July 3rd- 100 lap Ironman for the flathead 360 lbs- Raindate for this event is July 4th.

**July 4th- 100 lap Ironman for the clones 365 lbs.

** August 14th- 150 lap Ironman for the flatheads 360 lbs- Raindate for this event is August 15th.

**August 15th- 150 lap Ironman for the clones. 365 lbs

**October 2nd- 200 lap Ironman for the flatheads 360 lbs- Raindate for this event is October 3rd.

**October 3rd- 200 lap Ironman for the clones 365 lbs.

**October 8th- 200 lap Ironman for the Super Heavys 400 lbs.

The following rules will apply to all classes at each of the above events: 
All Drivers must either sell 4 laps at a minimum of $10.00 each lap or pay an additional $40.00 at sign-up.
Remember the more laps you sell the more in payout.
All lap money goes directly into payout.
Payout will be half plus one.
Heats, and possibly a B Main (dependent on entries) to be run
40 Karts will qualify
Weight to be 360 lbs for flatheads.
Weight to be 365 lbs for clones.
Weight to be 400 lbs for Super Heavy.
Radios will not be allowed
Cautions will  Count

Frozen Ocean Rules to Apply

Club Rules for Quad Racers 2010 

All drivers must Familiarize themselves with these rules!

1) Flat track tires only. No knobby tires allowed.

2) Pull switch mandatory. Must be in full working order.

3) Nerf bars required.

4) Outerwear required- Must have boot that goes above ankle. Other required wear are long sleeve jersey, heavy pants and gloves.

5) Helmet and Goggles must be worn.

6) A- No duplicate numbers will be allowed in the same class with or without letters.

B- No 2 or 3 digit numbers that are slanted or reflective in colot are allowed.

C- All numbers are to be Black on White or White on Black and be 6" tall. The scorers and track personnel must see all numbers at race speed. You must be seen to be scored.

D- Numbers will be handed out first-come first- serve basis.

7) Heat line up will be done by draw each week. Feature line up will be done as per where you finished in heat.

8) You must take the green flad and go under the flagger stand (under power) in order to be counted as starting the race.

9) Driver must take the checkered flag in order to be elifible for payout. Points are still awarded for finishing place.

10) Quad Amateurs will be required to move to expert after three feature wins.

11) Drivers are not allowed to jump back and forth between Amateur and Expert status.

12) All decisions on the trackwill be made by the promoter, Rich Murtaugh and/or the race director, and/or the head flagger. These decisions are final.

13) If all classes have heats in and it should rain, then feature points will be awarded.

14) If non-member racer takes 3rd place finish and a quad member takes a 4th place finish, the member will recieve the 3rd place finish and so on down the line.

15) If concern as to points, driver will have 2 weeks to address concern with the points keeper. After this time, no change will occur.

16) Driver must make 90% of races to be eligible for Banquet Prizes.

17) Winners of Class Prizes must be present at the Banquet to receive prizes. Otherwise the prizes will be presented to the general attendees at the Banquet drawing.
