Quads

  1. Do you race quads at Frozen Ocean (flat track)

    Yes, we run quads on all our regular shows.

  2. What are the rules for the quads?

    Tech vests are a must, teathers are a must. Number plates on the front and rear required. Flat track tires only.

  3. How much does it cost to race a quad?

    It costs $20 for members. $25 for non-members.

    With a 50% plus 1 payback.

  4. Whos the track photographer and how do i get a hold of him?

    Don Edds and 315-374-6715.

Admissions

  1. How much does it cost to get in?

    All regular shows are just $10 each. Thats good for pits and/or grandstands.

  2. What is the start time at a regular Frozen Ocean event?

    The gates open at 5, hot laps at 6. Racing at 7 on sat nights.

  3. What is the address to Frozen Ocean?

Kart

  1. What are the kart rules?

    All classes except clones and opens are by WKA standards.

  2. What rules do we follow for the opens?

    The opens are UAS standards.

  3. What are the clone rules?

    All clones are AKRA standards.

  4. What are the different weights for classes?

    Jr. 1- 250lbs

    Jr. 2- 275 lbs

    Jr. 3- 300 lbs

    Lites- 325 lbs

    Mediums- 250 lbs

    Heavys- 275 lbs

    Super Heavy- 400 lbs, (driver murt weight at least 200 lbs)

    Champ- 400 lbs

     

  5. What is the RMR Ourlaw Series?

    RMR Outlaw series is 25 races at 4 different race tracks. Frozen Ocean, Moose Mountain, Savannah, and West Amboy. 5 races will be raced at the end of the year of the 25 races. All adult point winners will recieve $1000 at the end of the year. The junior classes will be going for a chassis at the end of the year. There will be two chassis up for grabs.

  6. What gear do we run for the lites?

    Most guys run a 14-64 at Frozen Ocean in the lites.

  7. Whats the track tire?

    The track tire is Burris only slicks. except for the winged champs and the opens. They can run the Burris TXs or TKs.

  8. Whos the race director at Frozen Ocean?

    paul is the race director at Frozen Ocean.

  1. How do I get to the video page?

    Go to the home page (www.richardmurtaughracing.com) Then on the left hand side of the page the 5 button down says Video click it and it brings you to a sign up for a membership on our site. Become a member and then you can view the videos.

  2. How do I get to the Pictures?

    Go to the www.richardmurtaughracing.com. And on the left hand side of the page the 4th button down. push it and it brings you to a member sign up page. Make a membership or sign up and you'll be able to view all our pictures

  4. How do i look at the RMR Outlaw points?

    Go to the home site.(www.richardmurtaughracing.com) and then look on the left hand side of the page. then the 8th tab town run your cursor over it and then click RMR Outlaw Series Points.

  5. How come sometimes I cant get on the forums or pictures or videos?

    Because usually when we're updating them we lock them.

  6. How come I have to sign up to look at your pictures?

    So Don sees whos looking at his pictures. He puts them on here for free and he just likes seeing who looks at them.

  7. How big is Frozen Ocean?

    Frozen Ocean is a 1/5th mile on the bottom. Clay Surface.
